Introduction
SPEAKING English
Speaking is the delivery of language through the mouth. To speak, we create sounds using many parts of our body, including the lungs, vocal tract, vocal chords, tongue, teeth and lips.Speech can flow naturally from one person to another in the form of dialogue.
Today we will develop our speaking skills with a help of activities that will help you overcome the language barrier and fear of speaking in public.
Task
Activity 1
Secret word
You will be given topic and "secret" word that you should secretly implement into speech so, other students cannot find.
Activity 2

Process
Activity 1
Secret word
Students are given a random topic and a random word that is unrelated to the topic. The students must hide the word in a speech about the topic—they’re trying to make sure the other students can’t guess the secret word. The other students listen carefully to the speech and attempt to guess the secret word. Topic: nature. Secret word: cell phone.
One student will be given topic and starts his/her speech while others listen carefully:
Sample:
People do usually say that nature is our mother. It gives a person everything that is necessary for life, even though we don't always appreciate its gifts. What could be better than the warm sun, majestic mountains, and blooming trees in the spring? The world of nature is very rich and varied. There are hundreds of thousands of species, many of which we've never seen in our life.
We all used to live in a world that seems to be built by ourselves. We live in big houses equipped with high-tech consumer devices such as vacuum; we are able to travel long distances using cars, trains, and planes. We are able to know what is happening thousands of miles away, over the Internet or television by using computers or cell phones. But all of this is secondary. We use the knowledge of the laws of nature and its power to create all these technologies anyway.
Activity 2
Role play
One other way of getting students to speak is role-playing. Students pretend they are in various social contexts and have a variety of social roles. In role-play activities, the teacher gives information to the learners such as who they are and what they think or feel.
Students divided into pairs and provided with card. This roleplay "In restaurant" roles: Student 1 is Waiter Student 2 is Customer
Sample:
Student 1 Waiter: Good afternoon. Would you like a drink, sir/madam?
Student 2 Customer: Yes, please. I’d like ___.
Waiter: Would you like any appetizers?
Customer: Yes. I’d like ___, please.
Waiter: What about an entrée? What would you like?
Customer: I’d like ___, please.
Waiter: That’s a good choice. Would you like any dessert?
