You are part of a research team that has to learn about the wildlife found in South Africa. Your team's objective is to answer a series of questions about the different animals found in South Africa and their habitats, as well as the conservation efforts being made to protect them.

Step 2: In-Class Activity

In class, divide into groups of 3-4 students and choose one of the animals featured in the video to research. Use the following websites to research your chosen animal:

How is your chosen animal adapted to its environment?

What is the conservation status of your chosen animal and why is it important to protect it?

Your group's answers will be graded on the following criteria:

Accuracy of information presented

Completeness of answers to questions

Quality of presentation and communication skills
