A voyage to the Galaxy

Introduction

5...4...3...2...1...Left off!!! Let's take a ride to the Space and figure out what we can find in the Galaxy, the sun, moons, planets, stars, black holes, comets and meteors. You can explore the different planets in this fly, what would you need to get to the space and prepare to be part of the NASA crew.

 

Task

Let's begin to travel the Galaxy. Your mission is to explore what we can find in the Space and the characteristics of the Sun, the Planets, the Moon and all you discover.

After exploring, you will have to answer a few questions and make a Galaxy with your team, using recyclable materials and present it to the class.

 

 

 

Process

After exploring, answer the following questions:

1. How many moons do the Planets have?

2. What is the average temperature of the Planets? Are they hot or cold?

3. How many stars does the Milky Way have?

4. At what distance is the Sun from the Earth?

5. How old is the Sun?

 

Now that you have explore and discover the Space, make a Galaxy with recyclable materials and presented it to the class. It can be a poster or a mockup. Be creative!

Evaluation

Your project will be evaluated using the following criteria:

1. Correct answers

2. Materials used in the poster / mockup

3. Pictures of the Planet

4. Planet details: color, size, texture, etc.

5. Distance and position of each space object.

6. Group work and participation
