Introduction
We live on Earth, which is a very large planet. However, it isn't the largest planet in our Solar System. Do you know what planet is the largest? I'll give you a guess. It is the fastest spinning planet and it looks like it has stripes Can you guess what it is? Yes, you're right, its Jupiter! Awesome job. Together we will discover what other secrets our Solar System has for us.
Task
As a class we will watch a short video together and discuss what we found the most interesting. We will then draw our own Solar System based on the video.
Process
1. We will watch the Solar System video together as a class.
2. We will discuss what we found the most intriguing about the video and why.
3. We will gather our drawing supplies and begin to brainstorm as a class what the Solar System looks like.
4. We will watch the video again while drawing our own Solar System.
Feel free to use as many colors as you would like to help create your own Solar System.
Conclusion
WOW! You made an amazing Solar System that shows not only your creativity but also your knowledge on what the Solar System offers.
