Introduction
This WebQuest is to help you with your sight word recognition! You are going to work through several tasks that will help you work with your sight word recognition and at the end take a test on the sight words that you have worked through.
Task
You will be working alone to complete some games and a final assignment with your sight words. Remember sight words usually cannot be sound out so do you best to use your prior knowledge on this assignment! Stay motivated you will do great!
Process
1. Go to http://www.abcya.com/dolch_sight_word_bingo.htm to play sight word bingo. This is similar to the alphabet bingo that we have played several times.
2. Once you have completed the sight word bingo go to http://more2.starfall.com/n/matching/sight-words/load.htm. In this game you will be matching sight words.
3. Finally, you will create a story using 8 of your sight words (the, to, my, we, said, come, home, mom). You can also use any other words you would like. Your story needs to at least by 3 sentences!
Evaluation
You will be evaluated on your use of the sight words and their correct spelling, as well as your story flow! Keep in mind all we have been working on in writers workshop!
