In this Webquest, you will search for a job that you may like to have in the future. Along the way, you will discover what the salary is, what skills you must possess to get the job, the responsibilities of the job, and of course, what type of education you need to qualify for the position.

Your industry:
Step one is to determine what field or industry you would like to pursue. Examples of industries are health care, retail, Technology (computers), construction, etc.

There are several helpful sites on the web to help job seekers find jobs. Below are a few of the most popular. Click on one of the links below and begin your search for a job that you might consider pursuing.

When you've found a job that interests you, click on the process tab to the right.

What are the job responsibilities (in your own words)?
What skills do you have that would make you a good candidate for this job?

Go to Google Classroom and answer the following question:
If you were to pursue this job, what specific things personally would you have to do in order to be qualified?
When answering the question, consider these points:

Skill building
Networking (meeting people)
Please make your answer at least 75 words
You may want to research a bit more. For example, you could google "How do you become a social worker?"
