Introduction
Attention ALL Medical Personnel,
As I am sure that you are all tuned in to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, I believe that you must be aware of the uproar and controversy coming from the extremely dangerous slopes of Sochie, Russia. Due to the growing need of Medical attention at the games, along with the shortage of trained and certified Doctors Russia hired to serve the athletes medical emergencies, Team USA and all of its athletes are now calling on ALL Doctors in the USA to volunteer their service for this country and fill the shortage. If you make the honorable decision to accept this challenge, all travel and housing needs will be covered by Team USA Sponsors, along with a $200 dollar reward for you promised from every Athlete served and healed. This is a chance for all of you to use your expertise and knowledge to serve not only each individual patient, but also the USA, Do you accept the challenge?
Task
Physicians, it is up to you to serve this country by eagerly assesing each injured Athlete and construct a most efficient a back to Health plan, in hopes for them to return to the games.
Things that you should consider when beginning each assesment is:
1. Where did this injury occure including location on their body, and geographic location on the slopes.
2. When did this injury happen, and what are the signs and symptoms that have occured since then
3. What is the diagnosis
4. How should you go about healing the injury.
After these questons have been answered, each pactioneir is required to follow their Athlete's success throughout the rest of the games and reprt on how successfull their methids proved. They should also be ready to provide a followup assessment from each appoitment made between themselves and the USA Atheletes
Process
All Doctors who accept this great responsiblity and honor should report to Ms. Sherrill immediatly in order to recieve their assigned Athletes files and contact information in order to begin their Olympic journey..
Each emergency unit will consist of three members. Each member will be assigned to 1 of 3 total jobs.
- Books Keeper: Documenting progress and process through the use of Medical Charts and Pictures.
- Lead Doctor: Handles all of the Diagnosing and Follow up planning on the Healing Process.
- Nurse: Handles all of the daily care, maintenance, and procedures that must be followed before in the Doctor’s care
Together, the Team will be assigned each case and counted on to Answer the Where, What, When, and How questions stated previously under the Tasks Heading. Use the Chart given below to record daily progress and symptoms, fill out the incident report form, and complete the training provided by the underneath websites to confirm knowledge of each diagnoses. The following week after all of these steps are completed, you should follow your athlete each day through the internet of watching the 2014 games live on TV, and turn in an open ended journal of the Athletes progress after the “injury.”

Evaluation
Each Certified Practitioner will be graded upon Participation with the group, completion of the Medical Chart, Incident Report, take home quizzes that are made from the information on the training sites, and completion of the reflection journal due at the end of the 2014 Olympics.

You should now be able to professionally approach a situation by completing the Incident Report Form and Medical Charts, work as a team under high pressure situations, gain a general knowledge of the human body parts, brain, and mouth/teeth anatomy, and hopefully leave with a little USA pride from your involvement in this year’s Olympics!
