Shapes

Introduction

Pupils will watch a video about shapes, during the video the facilitator will pause the video at intervals and ask questions to see if they stand what they are watching. After, watching the video a question and answer session will follow, where misconception/s will be clarified.

Task

In groups students will be given various shapes to look at and discuss it in their groups, for example the circle is round like the moon and has no corners.

Process

Guided by the facilitator, pupils will go outdoor in the surrounding or environment to find shapes that matches the shapes they viewed previously. They will record their findings in their note book.

Evaluation

In their respectives groups pupils will use their bodies to make the shapes they learnt about earlier.

Conclusion

To concretize the lesson, the facilitator will have a competition with the various groups, the group that accumulated the most point will be awarded for example: I have equal sides who am I?
