Introduction
We use our senses to observe the properties of objects so that we can identify them, talk and write about them.
Task
1. Sensory words are descriptive—they describe how we experience the world:
a. how we smell,
b. how we see,
c. how we hear,
d. how we feel,
e. how we taste something.
2. Write descriptive pieces, using adjectives and adverbs appropriately and with appeal to the senses.
3. Descriptive texts must be vibrant, engaging, appealing, to the senses and employs appropriate use of adjectives and adverbs to create vivid imagery in the readers mind.
