       People are awesome! Ordinary people can become extraordinary people and change our lives. Do you have dreams that you would like to accomplish? Like flying to the moon, being president, or becoming a professional athlete.

You will choose an extraordinary person to research, read the person's profile, watch any related videos, and visit the person's website (if one is provided) in order to complete a graphic organizer.

At the end you will produce both a written biography and an oral presentation.

Alright, get ready to learn about our Extraordinary People

Follow Steps #1-4 to complete your Web Quest:

1) Choose an Extraordinary Person from the link below.

  • Click on the name of the person.
  • Read the person’s profile, watch any related videos, and visit the person’s website (if one is provided).
  • complete the graphic organizer questions

3) Go to the Conclusion page to see how you will write your biography and create your speech.

4) Go to the Evaluation page to see if you completed everything necessary to receive the grade you want.

Follow the steps below to complete your paragraph:

1) Use the information on your graphic organizer to write out your biography paragraph ( in the third person 400-500 words ). 

2) For your first sentence write the name of the person you chose.

3) Use your answers from the graphic organizer to create each sentence. Make sure you include all the answers to the questions and add more relevant information.

4) Check your spelling and punctuation.

Next prepare a 3-minute oral presentation ( in the third person ), giving as much interesting and relevant information about your extraordinary person.
