Introduction

Human activity is damaging the planet. You are given the oportunity to fight back!

What would yo do?

The aim of this project is basically raising awareness of students regarding to global issues, and make them reflect on ways in which they may contribute to deal with them.

Task

Firstly, you must select a certain global issue from the ones that are presented to you.

Secondly, you must gather and summarize information, individually, about the chosen global issue. Additionally, you need to present your findings and sources to your teacher.

Thirdly, you need to come out with ideas on how to improve or reduce the impact of the chosen topic.
Afterwards, you must gather the information found and create, in group, a prezi presentation about the chosen global issue.

Finally, you need to prepare an oral presentation about your topic, and present it to the whole class.

Process

Step 1: Watch the videos posted on the "teacher page".

step 2: Discuss with your group and decide which global issue your are going to work on.

Step 3: Once you have decided the topic, you must search for extra information using the search engines posted on the "teacher page"

Step 4: You must discriminate information and summarize the one that you selected, individually. These summaries must include their corresponding sources and shared with the teacher. No format is required for this step.

Step 5: Think on ideas related to reducing the impact of your selected global issue. Here you have to explain what would yo do, how would you do it, and who will be benefited with your proposal.

Step 6: Design a prezi presentation (watch the tutorial video attached in the "teacher page", if necessary). The presentation must include the folowing items; title, introduction, description of the researched issue, ideas or solutions, description of the process ans implementation of the measures.
