Rainforest Exhibit

Introduction

The rainforest is a wet area habitated by various plants and animals. The River Banks Zoo has a small exhibit with few animals and plants. Columbia is now building a bigger habitat with more animals and plants. They need you to discover more animals and plants that can go into this exhibit.

 

 

Task

To help out with this project you need to:

1. Get information about 10 different animals and plants.

2. Create a presentation on your findings.

    -Make a powerpoint that you will show to the Behavioral Ecologist 

     who will be opening the new exhibit in Columbia.

                                                  

Things you need to find out:

1. Common and scientific name of the animal.

2. What rainforest does the animal live in?

3. Habitat/ size of animal.

4. What does the animal eat?

5. Is the animal endangered?

6. How does the animal protect itself?

Visit these websites to learn about animals and plants in the rainforest. While searching for plants and animals in the different rainforests make sure to record information you will need to use in your groups powerpoint.
