Caeser Augustus

Introduction

Caeser Augustus (63 B.C.-A.D. 14)was Rome's First citizen. He was an emperor, unlike any leaders Rome had previously, he worked with the people and was not a dictator. Caeser Augustus was one of Rome's most powerful and influental leaders both for the good and bad. He lead great military conquest that helped Rome expand beyond any known limits. He fought for the safety of his citizens in Rome, and transformed Rome into a gran city.

Task

Your task is to investigate about one of the wars that Caeser Augustus and write a journal entry about it as if you were one of the characters involved. You may use any books, articles, paintings, or websites as you wish but they must me creditable sources. 

Process

Think about how the character you chose must have felt. Was he or she the enemy? Didi they win the war? Where were they fighting? Try to not only include the facts but put yourself in their shoes. How would they feel about being away from home and their families? Where they close to their home and therefore worried about war? The character you chose does not need to be a person. It could be family pets or anything else you wish. After you have chosen who or what perspective you would like to speak through research the battle and write about your day.

Evaluation

You will be graded mainly on your creativity and accuracy of facts on the battle. Grammar and Spelling will have a minimal affect on your final grade. Please do not take advantade of the leniancy on grammar. Make your entry presentable and to the best of your ability.

Conclusion

And so, through numerous battles, Caeser Augustus took over parts of Europe, Asia, and North Africa. He was able to stop a century long civil war and establish peace for over 40 years. He was assasinated yet he left a legacy for many leaders after him. After his death, Augustus was renown almost everywhere in Rome and he was declared as a Roman god. Although a pagan leader Caeser Augustus fought hard to change his city from a city of bricks to a city of marbel.
