Introduction
There are so many different types of rocks in this world. Lets take a moment to try and learn to identify these different types of rock and their basic characteristics.
Task
You will need to be able to identify these different types of rocks and give me one of their characteristics.
Process
After the class discussion you will:
1. Make a list of 5 different types of rock.
2. Write a sentence of what catches your eye when you see these rocks.
3. Give me one scientific characteristic about them.
Evaluation
I will grade this assignment based on a rubric.

Conclusion
