Road Trip!!!!

Everyone needs a vacation…even YOU! So, you’ve finally decided to take one. Where will you go? What will you do? Grab your best friend, pick a destination, and you’re off! But WAIT! Vacations aren’t free… there’s definitely a price tag. You’ll get to choose your destination and develop a budget that includes all aspects of your vacation, from a rental car,down to souvenirs. Have fun!

You and your best friend are planning a road trip! As a pair, you must agree on a destination. You will also be responsible for determining the costs for transportation, food, lodging, and any attractions you visit, or activities you do while there.

After planning your vacation budget, you and your partner will present your vacation to the class. Creating a poster or power point presentation is a great way to share your vacation.

I am so impressed by all of your hard work!  Vacation planning can be harder than it looks!  There is a lot of time and planning needed to execute a successful vacation.  As of now, you have learned how to find great deals on rental cars, hotels, and attractions.  You have also advanced your math skills greatly.  Apply this new knowledge in the future, and you will surely plan another successful vacation.  Take a moment to reflect on your assignment, and write down what you think were three of your strongest points in the project, and also three things that you think you could have improved on, or would have liked to have added to your project.
