Road safety

Introduction

Road safety refers to the measures and rules put in place to prevent accidents and protect all road users, including drivers, passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians. It aims to reduce the number of injuries and deaths caused by road accidents. Practicing road safety involves following traffic laws, using seat belts and helmets, avoiding speeding or drunk driving, and being alert while on the road. Promoting road safety helps create safer communities and saves lives.
