Introduction
The American Revolution occurred between 1775 and 1791. The American colonists objected to being heavily taxed by British Parliament and King George III. Their cry was "No taxation without representation!" With the passage of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies became 13 independent states. However, the war was just getting started.

Task
Your task is to research the important events that led to the American Revolution. You will take notes and create a timeline showing your findings. Your timeline may be created using a digital site such as Canva, Adobe, or Piktochart, or you may create it on a poster board.
