Introduction

Welcome grade 4 sustainability team.

 As you are all now experts of sustainability we need your help to inform the public on the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling our waste.

 It is up to you, the environment needs your help!

Task

Welcome on board grade 4.

Through completing this web quest you will:

1. Interact with other group members with respect, share views and recognise other group members may not share your view.

2. Suggest possible actions that could be taken to promote awareness about how people can reduce their impact on the environment

3. Implement a plan for action

4. Apply the principle/s reduce, reuse, recycle to your plan of action

Process

Welcome sustainability team.

You will work in groups of four to create a video to educate others on how to be sustainable.

You can use either movie maker or the school video camera to record your video

Remember your video will be viewed by members of the public.

Your video must:

  • Educate members of the public on the importance of sustainability
  • Include at least one of the principles reduce, reuse and recycle.
  • Inspire others to take action.

You must assign each group member a role (one may film, another may find powerful images,another may find facts and the other may be the organiser).

Remember you must record ALL information in your own words.
