Conclusion

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is a great example of a short story. The setting, plot, conflicts, character development, theme and point of view all make up the phenomenal plot Kipling came up with. The media version as well as the websites you looked into also provide a much greater analysis of this story. As we conclude the story, think about all of these elements of a short story and the way they contribute to the plot of ANY text.

Think about these questions in your mind:

  • What would have happened if Rikki got injured?
  • What would be different if the story was not in India?
  • What would be different if it was told by Nag's point of view?
  • What would you change in the plot?

Please share these answers as a stream in Google Classroom. After that, complete the short assessment in Edulastic.
