In 410,under the leadership of Alaric the Visigoths moved south into the Italian peninsula, then Rome, then finally they settled in Spain. The Franks moved into northern Gual and the Angles and Saxons crossed over into Britain. The Huns were lead by Attila " the scourge of God". He was called this because he was thought to be an instument of Gods wrath. They also tried to invade Rome but were stopped by the romans with the help of the Germanic people. Later the Germanic people formed a tribe called the Vandals, meaning " destroyer of property", formed a kingdom in North Africa. They to invaded Rome.In 476 Rome fell.Barbarians invaded Rome and a non-roman was place in the emperor's throne.
