Introduction

The revolutionary war was a war for american independence between Great Britain and British colonist. It lasted from April 19, 1775 to September 3, 1783. It started after British and colonist were fighting in sevens year war against French, and they were in debt. The British began taxing colonist to get out of debt, which colonist thought was unfair and tensions grew.

Conclusion

The American Revolutionary War was the start of a new country and a downfall of a kingdom. For America it was the start of a new government, new life, pursuit of happiness, and liberty. For the British it was the downfall of their economy and didn't rebuild it until 200 years later.
