Revloutinary war

Introduction

The kids will play the role of a colonist during the lead up to the revloutinary war. The goal of the lesson is to  be able to explain why the colonist wanted to break free from Great Britan and what was the what were the causes and effects of the war. 

Task

They are to create a Time Line of of the events that led up to the civil war and what were the effects of them as well. This is to include major causes and events with dates of those events or causes. 

Process

Step One: Do reseach with the provided links to see what needs to be on the time line

Step 2: Useing laptops all reserch pictures of the war to add to your timeline when approiate to use 

Step 3: Fill out your Timeline using the Time Line Themplate on Word 

Step 4 b: Submit to DropBox under our class

Conclusion

In our conclusion, I would ask the students what did they like about this project and were the reasources given good for the information that was asked. Also we would spend 10 to 15 mintues talking about why the war was important as a whole and what was the importance of the lesson. Also I would bring up to the students that the win of this war is why we are not under british control today.
