Review of the basic baking ingredients

In Culinary Arts, we covered the functions of the 8 basic ingredients in every baked good. This will be a review of that content. From now until winter break, we will be focusing on baked goods.

For each ingredient category below, you will define it's purpose/function in a baked good (in baking context). Then, you will give at least two examples.
