Introduction

Dear students. As you know, the world we live in today was shaped by ancient civilizations. Today, we still benefit from the legacy of ancient civilizations many fields, particularly the natural sciences. In this assignment, you will be archeologists conducting research about ancient world and you'll learn about them.

 

Task

For this task you'll be archeologists conducting research about ancient world. You need to choose one ancient civilization to research.You can choose from Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, Mayans etc. It's up to you. You will need to research about their achievements, where they existed at, what was their discovered artifacts etc. You'll present your findings as a slideshow presentation. 

 

Process

Follow these steps to complete the WebQuest:

  1. Learn about the basics of archeology

  2. Explore different archaeological researching methods, such as excavating sites, analyzing artifacts, studying ancient structures, and interpreting historical findings.

  3. Choose one ancient civilization that interests you. 

  4. Gather information about your civilization using the sources provided. Learn about their achievements, where they existed at, what was their discovered artifacts etc.

  5. Create a slideshow presentation about your civilization. You can use PowerPoint or Google Slides.
