Introduction
In this webquest you will be exploring the period following the Civil War known as Reconstruction. You will be learning about the different policies and plans during this period. You will also learn the struggles that African Americans faced and the impact that Reconstruction had on the Constitution.
Put your self in their shoes and see what it must have felt like to be living during the Reconstruction Era!
Task
1. You will work in groups of three.
2. Each member in the group will complete a section of the webquest including the policies of reconstruction, 13th, 14th, 15th amendments, or struggles faced by the Freedman.
3. Each member must also answer one question from the Extended Learning section.
4. Each member will share the answers (everyone must turn in a paper).
5. When answering questions you must use the RACE strategy (Restate, Answer, Cite text evidence, Explain how your evidence helps to answer the question)
