Task
Learning Goal: To learn about a disease and discover how our knowledge gained on cells in the 21st century has implications on individuals and society. To communicate knowledge in a 60-90 second podcast.
Success Criteria:
- Gathers information in point form. All information should be in your own words.
- Shares general information on the disease (symptoms, causes)
- Discusses how the disease affects the cells, tissues and/or organs
- Explains how medical research has been responsible for improvements in treatments
- Uses a clear, expressive voice in podcast
- Follows logical sequence in sharing information
- Speaks at a pace for listeners to understand
- Maintains the interest of the audience
- Includes appropriate sounds effects
- Podcast contains an intro., hook, transition words, conclusion
Process
