We live in a world that’s influenced by technology from the moment it become part of our lives. Understanding and be responsible to how we interact within the digital world, also what you are in the outside world, you must be the same in the online world. It requires for being a respectful, ethical, and law-abiding participant in online society. It is important to acknowledge the nature of technology which grasping our roles and rights in the online environment.
Being a digital citizen that has connection in technology and the internet to communicate with others and participate in society. We must engage with others online by having respectful, ethical, and responsible manner or action you do, contribute positive than negative to communication and have responsibility for your safe and inclusive online environments. We need to be aware of rights and responsibilities in the digital world such as having freedom of speech to express our emotions or thoughts and strive to foster a better online experience for all.
In the world of technology as a digital citizen must recognize the social, ethical and legal responsibilities that can lead to consequences of our actions online. We should treat others in kindness and don’t spread some negativities, also don’t use a social for bullying others and must be responsible for your actions so that we can’t hurt someone else. Including also for respecting others privacy, must be responsible for not copying other work, and have intellectual property rights to all. By the following the laws it can be your guide so that you can think before you act what you want to do in online world to avoid violations.
Digital Tattoo
In my past online activities, I was mindful of sharing some personal information and avoiding the criticism and bullying of others on social media, also I don’t believe in the fake news that will impact my confuse in my mind so that I didn’t pay attention it and I always post memes in social media before. Additionally, I always read some post with my friends on social media that express their feelings online or thoughts that can give me some advice and I’m happy to read it that something funny, happy, sad, serious or exciting that gave me mixed emotion.
My digital tattoo represents who I am in digital citizenship as a student that shows being have connection in technology to help me to do some activities or performance task to finish it. Additionally, I was happy doing it with compassion, persistence and dedication to answer it.
