Process
Why did we do this activity:
This activity followed a story. Not only is this activity fun and relaxing, it also got us to think of words that belong certain letters in the alphabet. For example, B is blue. B may be for blue, yet a friend could say that B is for beautiful. There are many different words for each letter of the alphabet, that is why we showed our beautiful drawings. This activity also associated a book to the alphabet. We got most of our drawing and words from the story that was read to us.
"The Rainbow Fish" is a wonderful story. It helped us think of words that belong to different letters in the alphabet. This book was not only fun and very colorful, but this book helped us with our words, as well as, the beginning letters to words.
