Introduction
This story is about all of the ideas and creations Benjamin Franklin created and still exist in today’s world - - such as electricity, swimming fins, the odometer, the concept of the benefits of Vitamin C and the Franklin stove.
We will also be discovering how Ben played an important part in the establishment of hospitals, post offices, the country’s first library, fire and sanitation departments and the Constitution.
Task
We are going to be learning about a very important man. We will be participating in the “Who Am I” activity! Everyone look at the picture below and tell me who you think he is.
By looking at the picture, when do think this picture was taken - - what year? What does the picture tell you about the past?
