Task
The audience in this class is a 9th grade Science class.
In this assignment students are to:
- Do research on an animal of their choice
- Write a one page paper on this animal
- Give an oral presentation
Process
Once students have decided on an amimal of their choice they will then proceed to:
Complete research on this animal which should include
- Scientific name of animal
- The natural habitat of the animal
- How they reproduce
- How well they get along with humans
- Does this animal hibernate
Evaluation
Students will be graded on the following rubric:
A -Students answer all questions listed in the assignment, when students give oral presentation students speak loud and clearly, take their time and do not rush through it, and students make eye contact with students and do not continue to look down as they are speaking.
B- Students answer most questions presented in assignment, when students give oral presentation they speaks where most can hear, and looks down a few times to stay on topic.
C-Students fail to answer half of the questions presented in the assignment, when giving oral presentation they speak low so that most students do not no hear them, and continues to look down while speaking.
