Introduction
Hi students!
Do you know any endangered animals?
There are many different species of animals living all around the world.
But today, people are using natural resources too much.
For example, catching too many fish or cutting down too many trees.
Because of this, some animals might disappear.
These animals are what we call 'endangered animals'
Because, people and animals live together on Earth
we should protect them and prevent them from disappearing.
We are all friends!
In this webquest, you are going to read some articles about endangered animals.
And then, answer the quiz and summarize those articles.
Finally, you will find an article about another endangered animals that you want to learn more about.

Task
All you have to do is read three prepared articles carefully and complete the following tasks.
The task consists of three parts:
1. Solve a mini quiz with blank spaces.
2. Choose one of the three articles to summarize it.
3. Find an article about another endangered animal.
Through this task, you can develop reading skills and you can also be an animal expert!

Step 1: Reading articles

Step 2: Mini quiz
→ Fill in the blanks on the activity sheet I gave you in class.
* These quizzes are not very hard. Please read those articles carefully and complete the quiz.
Step 3: Sum up
→ Choose one article you like from three
→ Summarize the article by answering the questions below.
→ Write at least three lines for each question.
- Why is this endangered animal important?
- what are the threats to this endangered animal?
- What is WWF doing for the endangered animal?
Step 4: Find out
→ Search for other endangered animals except for those three animals.
→ Upload the link to the article on our class Paddlet.
