- Expository Writing
Task
- Watch the video.
- Open up a Microsoft Document to record your questions and responses.
- Answer the questions in complete sentences.
- Put your name and date on the top, and the title will be "Internet Research Practice."
- Make a heading for each Scavenger Hunt in order. There are 5 Internet Scavenger Hunts. (Example: SCAVENGER HUNT 1: HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE US PRESIDENTS?) You may cut and paste the questions for each scavenger hunt.
- Research the answers, and using your OWN WORDS (Do NOT cut and paste), fill in the appropriate responses for each question or paragraph.
- There are websites given already for each scavenger hunt, however, you may need to do further research in Google if you cannot find the answers. You must take your time and read carefully.
- Unless it is a fill-in-the-blank question, you must write in complete sentences using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Paragraphs must have 3-5 complete sentences and must be indented.
- Consult the dictionary or me to find out if a word is spelled correctly if you are unsure.
- All words OVER 3 LETTERS in a title MUST BE CAPITALIZED.
- Finally, make a Prezi with a title slide (Scavenger Hunts) and a slide for each scavenger hunt you did. The slides will have the title, a 3-5 sentence paragraph for each scavenger hunt telling what you learned, and a graphic that relates to the topic.
