Introduction
You are a contractor who has just been hired to build a home from the ground up you must come up with the area and perimeter for each room.
Task
The task is to properly measure and find out the area and perimter for each room when given the height and width of the room.
Process
In groups of 5 you will select a leader who will have the final say and present the groups project at the end. You can designate other roles at the groups description.
Evaluation
You will be graded in the following areas; teamwork, correctness, efficiency, and creativity. The leader will have a seperate criteria because leadership will be added. which will be voted by teammates.
Conclusion
My students have learned how area and other math terms are used in the real world and how something that seems so simple plays a large role in everyday society.
