Introduction
Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants. Pollutants can be natural, such as volcanic ash. They can also be created by human activity, such as trash or runoff produced by factories. Pollutants damage the quality of air, water, and land.
Task
Make a pollution catcher at your home.
Not every form of pollution can be caught by this experiment. This is mainly for catching air pollution. This activity includes a paper plate, a hole punch, a string, and vaseline
Process
Take a paper plate
Apply Vaseline on it
Hang it in your garden area
After 5-6 days you will see some small particles on it
Conclusion
Much is being done to control, monitor and rectify damage done by pollutants. The problems are diverse and some are only being recognised but it is important to keep a close control over pollutants so that we can maintain the environment in an acceptable condition for future generations.
