 Problem: How many moons does each planet have?

During this WebQuest, You will learn about the different planets and the number of moons each planet has. You will also learn about each planet and the order in which they are from the sun. You will participate in hands on activities and watch videos that will help you to master the question of how many moons each planet has.

Process

Once you have answered all of the questions you will then complete two activities that your teacher will have available for you to complete. You can choose a partner, or a group of 3 students to research the planets to create your Planet Fact fan. You will use this fan to help you to learn the basic facts of each of the planets in the solar system and the order in which they are from the sun.

For this activity, you will either work independently or with a partner using a Chrome book to complete the Planet Research Handout to investigate certain information on each planet. 

These two activities work interchangeably so, you can use the information that you gather from one to complete the other.

Conclusion

This WebQuest was created to help you to master the names of the Planets, the order of the planets in relation to the sun, and the number of moons that each planet has.
