Task

Your team will create a international travel plan with a total budget of $2,000 USD.

Using authentic English travel websites, your team must:

  • choose a destination,
  • search for flights and accommodations,
  • create a daily itinerary,
  • calculate transportation and food expenses,
  • and present the final travel plan in English.

At the end of the project, your group will submit:

  1. A written travel proposal
  2. A detailed budget table
  3. A group presentation (5–7 minutes)
Process

Step 1: Form Groups

Form a group of 3-4 students.

Each group member should take an active role in planning  the trip and sharing ideas. Work together to compare information, make decisions, and solve problems as a team.

Step 2: Choose a Destination

Select one international destination that can realistically fit within the budget.

You can choose destination wherever you want but except for some controversial country.

And you must consider:

  • food costs,
  • and tourist attractions,
  • and so on.

Step 3: Research Transportation

Use online travel websites to compare airfare prices.

Step 4: Find Accommodation

Search for affordable accommodations.

Create a detailed itinerary for the trip.
