Welcome back to today's lesson about Physical Constants.

Take Note of the image listed below for your usage on familiarizing yourself with the 7 basic physical constants.

 

Task
  • Construct an Investigative Essay in relation to Physical Constants by answering the following questions in a scientific essay completed on MS WORD DOCUMENT. Your essay should have a Title, Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Don’t forget to include word count. Word count is limitless. Include images, graphs, scanned paperwork, as well as correct links in reference list.
  • Questions.

Question 1: How are constants determined?

Question 2: Who determines constants?

Question 3: What are any of the importance’s of constants in the universe and in physics?

Question 4: Choose any ONE Physical constant, from the above image on Physical Constants, and provide a detailed reported essay that should answer the following questions:

  1. Who is the founder of the Physical Constant of your choice?
  2. How did the founder  make this discover and why (Why)
  3. Provide an example using the constant in an equation
  4. What does this constant help us determine?

Question 5: Are there any more constants? Watch the following video and provide feedback.

Submit online using student email on Instructure Canvas (LMS).

Answer in the following way:

Questions 1,2,3 and 5. Start question 4 on a new page (Essay must include an appropriate title)

Process

I want you to be able to represent your approach to researching about Physical Constants in a scientific manner. 

Do not forget the following:

  • Attach images where possible/needed
  • Sketch on paper the example given to demonstrate how constant is used in equation/scan and attach as worksheet/ in MS word document.
  • 12 font, New Times Roman, 1.5 line spacing
  • Cover page with necessary details: Name, Surname, School Badge, date submission, due date, signed attached plagiarism form.

Be sure to either use the links and images provided to you, as well as introductory video as your navigation in constructing an investigative essay or other friendly scholarly links or cites. 

You may work as a team of maximum FOUR students, in pairs etc., but you may construct the essay individually.

Please make sure to USE MS WORD 2013, even if it is typed on your phone.



DO NOT submit via WhatsApp as you will be immediately penalized and will be marked out of 95%.
