Our life has been a series of memories and images. Like how we first learn to use our senses and body parts. In connection, the time we open our eyes is the time of the modern world, where the invention and innovation of technology is expansive.
The use of technology has been observed through the phases of education, including elementary, high school, and college. The way it evolves from just using a pen/pencil, papers, and books to cellphones, laptops, and others. Also, combining the traditional and digital ways to learn effectively.
Thus, this activity involves a set of pictures to illustrate the impact of technology in our lives, from elementary to college. Also, it will focus on how technology helps overcome challenges in education. In addition, this activity is a fulfillment for the performance task in the subject Technology for Teaching and Learning 1.
Process
Description:
In elementary days, the traditional teaching was more utilized, since there was limited access to technology as many people in our country suffer from poverty. But, as the days go by, in high school, the use of different technologies arises/introduces, especially in science subjects like microscopes and other laboratory equipment. Also, the use of computers became significant as it involved complex software tools, which included word processing applications and presentation programs, in addition to internet capabilities for broader research and communication that made the work of teachers and students convenient. In addition, college students were more exposed to advanced technological applications, optimized software solutions, and collaborative tools. Throughout these phases, it shows how essential technologies are in education, and it has evolved from being supplementary to critical for teaching-learning processes.
