Introduction

Have you ever wondered why people in different parts of the Philippines have unique languages, traditions, clothing, and festivals? Our country's rich cultural diversity makes it one of the most vibrant nations in the world. In this activity, you will become a young cultural researcher and discover how geography, history, and traditions shape the identity of different Filipino communities.

Task

Your task is to work individually or in groups of 3–4 to create a digital presentation or infographic showcasing one cultural group or region in the Philippines.

Your presentation should include:

  • Traditional clothing
  • Festivals or celebrations
  • Food and customs
  • Interesting historical facts
  • Why preserving cultural heritage is important
