PEOPLE IN HISTORY

Introduction

The lesson is about people in history. This webquest is for 15-16 years old students in high-school CLIL classroomThis is appropriate for pre-intermediate students. 

Students listen to a brief biography of Alexander Graham Bell and watch a video about Nikola Tesla. Activities focus on listening comprehension, speaking, grammar (simple past) and irregular verbs. After the exercises, students will prepare a poster by using their creativity. 

Task

Watch a video about past simple and have a look at the irregular words in a detailed way. 

Listen to Alexander Graham Bell's biography and answer to questions. 

Watch a video about Nikola Tesla and answer to questions. 

Finally, choose an inventor (Alexander Graham Bell or Nikola Tesla) and prepare a poster about them. Then, present it to your classmates and there will be a peer assessment after you present it.

You have 50 minutes to complete all the tasks.
