Introduction

Hello Students!

Imagine you are a teacher and you are going to take part in pedagogical council, but there is one problem. You know nothing about it!

In order to get acquanted with its' process and goals, you are going to make your own investigation with other teachers who have the same issue.

 

Let's get started!

Task

The goal is to understand:

  • what is pedagogical or teachers' council;
  • who are the members of pedagogical council;
  • what aims do pedagogical council provide;
  • the differences between teachers' union and teachers' council;
  • what are the benefits of pedagogical council

There are several new teachers who share the problem with you. It is recommended to work as a group to develop extended understanding of pedagogical council and work more productively.

Step 1

Start your investigation accotding to following instruction:

  • identify the differences
  • highlight the main purposes

  • figure out the purpose of the discussion

Time limit: 7 min

Make a short presentation or cluster in accordance with the information you have. 

Remeber that all the members of the group have to take part in the process.

Time limit: 5 min

Be ready to share your done works with your colleagues. Do not read all the information from your presentation instead express your opinion and try to paraphrase. Other groups are allowed to ask questions at the end of presentation.

Time limit: 3 min

Provide brief feedback to your peers. Highlight the strenghts of the group and share with your wishes on how to improve further.
