PE Fitness Testing

Introduction

The PE fitness testing at the end of the year measures six areas of fitness. These areas include: Aerobic capacity, Upper body strength, Abdominal strength, Flexibility Trunk extensions, flexibility, and

Body mass index. Each of these areas promote a healthy lifestyle and the ability to function well in daily activities

Task

What activities in your life do each of these fitness components support?

Process

In a group of 6 students, summarize how each of the 6 areas of fitness support real life activities. Assign each group member to one of the fitness areas. The summary for each area should be at least 5 sentences and include at least one activity that is supported by the fitness area. Make meaningful connections to your own life. Use google slides to complile your ideas and add visuals and graphics.

Evaluation

Have a google slides presentation ready to present by the end of the class. Presentation should include 6 slides (one slide per fitness area) and should include images and visuals.

Conclusion

Fill out an exit ticket reflecting on the process of this assignment and what it taught you.
