Introduction
Student will be introduce to passing and controlling with the inside foot in football and understands its use in football. They will learn its purpose for allowing players to move the ball accurately between teammates and receive the ball smoothly while keeping possession. the inside of the foot is commonly used because it provides a larger, flatter surface, making passing and controlling easier and more accurate. Students will also participate in group activities and explain key coaching points such as balance, accuracy, communication, and a soft first touch to control the ball.
Task
Students will use online resources and other learning materials to research passing and controlling the ball with inside of the foot in football and identify situations in which this skill is used during a game, such as maintain possession and building attacking play.
Students will list and explain the main coaching points associated with passing and controlling with the inside of the foot.
Students will list practice demonstrate passing and controlling during class both individually and in groups, showing improvement in accuracy, control, and technique through repetition and feedback.
