3 Types of Sculpture:
1.Relief – meant to be seen from one main side.
2.Freestanding (“In the Round”) – Sculpture that is seen from all sides and stands on its own.
3.Kinetic – Sculpture that moves or has moving parts
4 Methods to Create Sculpture:
1.Modeling (Additive) – adding pieces of a material to itself until you have molded a sculpture.
2.Carving (Subtractive) – removing pieces of a material until have created a sculpture.
3.Casting – using a mold to make multiple copies of a sculpture
4.Assemblage – combining various materials together to make a sculpture.
