OUTPUT DEVICES
What is Output?
- Computer is fed with a lot of data to be processed and organized.
- The data that has been processed into a useful form is called OUTPUT
- Output is the result we get through output devices.
Output Devices usually receive data from the CPU and change it into a form which can be understood by humans. Most output devices can be divided into two categories: soft copy and hard copy. Soft copy is ideal when you are writing a document, playing a game, watching a video or reading the latest news. Soft copy is what you see on the monitor.
Soft copy is temporary; after you have finished with it, there is nothing solid to hold. You can however transfer soft copy to a disk to transport it.
Hard copies can be touched and carried. Hard copies are usually some form of paper output.

Task
Task # 1: Students will be prompt to launch https://www.slideshare.net/mrsdurff2/input-output-ppt and analyze all the devices shown there and list all those items that are output devices. Afterwards, as a group student will ensue a discussion activity with the use of a PowerPoint presentation prepared and presented by the teacher. This activity will be based on students actively viewing, listening, responding to questions asked by the teacher and discussing concepts learnt.
Prompt: Output devices let you see data that has been processed pr is stored on the hard disk or any other storage media. Monitor let you see data displayed on screen, printer produces copy that you can hold and read

Task # 2: To play the game, the students must visit website http://www.teach-ict.com/gcse_computing/ocr/212_computing_hardware/output_devices/quiz/ontarget_output.htm and input their name in the space given. Then the students can pick their own skill level. The skill levels are being offered in three different levels. Then the students can choose their own target percentage. The target percentage can be choose from 0 – 100 %. For every right answer, the students can play a shooting game in order to accumulated scores. But if the students answer wrong, another question will be display until the students can answer the questions correctly. The students can choose the answer in multiple choice types. Then the students can start the game.
