Newton's Laws

Introduction

Newtons 1st Law: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Newtons 2nd Law: The accelation of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object. F=ma

Newtons 3rd Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Task

Your task is to create a Powerpoint presentation about Newtons three laws of motion.

Process

The powerpoint presantation should include the following:

  • Slide 1: Title page
  • Slide 2: Newtons 1st law
  • Slide 3: Newtons 2nd law
  • Slide 4: Newtons 3rd law
  • Slide 5: Explaination of why the laws are important
Evaluation

Question: How will i be graded on my powerpoint presentation?Answer: I will use the following grade rubric:

  • Creativity 25%
  • Organization 25%
  • Spelling/Grammer 25%
  • Overall presentation 25%
Conclusion

Do you know what are Newtons Laws? Newton's law are very important because they tie into almost everything we see in everyday life. these laws tell us exactly how things move or sit still, like why you don't float out of bed or fall through the floor of your house. newton's laws control how cars work, how water flows, how building don't fall down, and basically how everything around us moves
