A noun is the name of a person,animal,place or thing.It can name materials.It can name an idea,an emotion, a quality, a state .etc
Types of nouns :-
1. Proper noun - specific people or things. ex - Albert Einstein , London
2. Common noun - Non specific things .
ex - country, city , man .
3. Collective noun - Refer to group or thing that is one whole .
ex - class, army , etc
4. Abstract noun - Something that you can not perceive with your five senses.
Ex - kindness ,pride , beauty .
5. Countable noun - That can be counted.
Ex - train , pencil .
6. Uncountable noun - That is unable to count.
Ex - Salt , Sugar .
7 . Singular noun - Refer to one place person or thing .
Ex - cat ,dog ,ship
8. Plural noun - Refer to more than one place, person or thing s.
For ex - babies, cats .etc
