You are about to start a journey back in time! You will be exploring ancient Greece. The book you are reading "The Hour of the Olympics" will help you travel back in time. Before you say to youself, "Oh, this is going to be BORING!" STOP IT! You get the chance to see how other people lived and to make connections to your life! Task
Ok sooooo not everyone is going to be able to travel back in time to ancient Greece. It is your job to find out everything thing you can about their culture and the begining of the Olympics.
You will create a poster including the following things:
Where in the world is Greece?
What kind of homes did people live in?
What kind of jobs did people have?
Where did the Olympics start and why?
What kinds of things did boys do?
What kinds of thinkgs did girls do?
What kinds of food did they eat?
what kind of art did they make?
What was school like for kids?
You will find pictures and write summaries explaining all of the topics above!
