Would you like to go on a Safari hunt? In the book Safari So Good! By Bonnie Worth, The Cat in the Hat and his Animal Viewers do just that! Traveling through African wildlife you can explore all the different wild animals  in their natural habitats. You will research and take pictures along the way. Hold on!!!!











































Task

You are about to leave for your Safari hunt with Cat in the Hat from the Dr. Seuss books. You must be excited! You will get to see so many different animals from a Savannah habitat. As you read the book with your teacher or parent keep track of what you have seen. You will research and take pictures throughout this journey so you must draw the pictures of what you seen and write a sentence about it. Have fun!

A literature Webquest designed for Kindergartners

Teacher Introduction

This lesson was designed for Kindergartners who are looking for a fun and exciting new adventure.  In Kindergarten the Michigan State standards say students must learn about living things and what they need in life. The Safari So Good book is a great way to introduce students to Savannah wildlife habitat.  This webquest incorporates research and literature in a fun way for all students.
