Exploration of Religions

Introduction

 

We are going to investigate some of the major religions that are worshiped/practied around the world. 

Task

You will work in groups of three or four to investigate religions that are practiced all around the world.  

Topics to include:

  • Beliefs  
  • History/Origin
  • Holy Days
  • Rites and rituals     
  • Subdivisions/Types
  • Customs
  • Garb
  • Text
Process

Your group will present/teach the rest of the class about a specific religion.  During the presentations, you will take notes for a quiz.

You can present the information with a poster, PowerPoint presentation, video, or an interactive presentation; your choice.

Be as creative as possible.  Think outside the box to go above and beyond.

Bring in authentic items, take pictures of a house of worship, or play a song.
